The team
The Electromobility Department is responsible for developing electromobility solutions and to secure a stepwise implementation in different segments/regions. This organization develops and drives the electromobility product portfolio for Trucks & Buses as well as creating opportunities for all business areas within the Volvo Group. Electromobility is a growing organization in place to shape the future!
The importance of electromobility is growing every day and a key component within the electrified powertrain is the Energy Storage System (ESS). In this section, they are accountable for the lifecycle management of the ESS, from advanced engineering, throughout product development into the maintenance phase.
The battery evaluation & analysis team is responsible for the development of testing methods and data analysis to build world class knowledge in battery design and related technology areas such as electrical, mechanical, thermal and safety.
There are 4 sister teams in this area where you will be part of the team handling the battery evaluation and analysis.

The role
The main responsibilities in this role will be ownership of creating evaluation/analysis plan for specific projects. You will prepare, execute, and document testing activities on battery cells and modules and report all evaluation & analysis activities on a regular basis. You will also work close to the Battery cell technology/simulation engineers, module design engineers, BMS engineers and verification engineers on specific projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop cell/module evaluation and analysis plan
Communicate with verification/test laboratories
Organize, plan and manage test activities
On-site support and supervising both in-house and external testing laboratories
Analyze of test results
Create test reports
Defining requirements for the battery cell with input from the System Engineers and other stakeholders
