Description:

Support a high voltage battery system in Battery Electric Vehicles.
This includes batteries, battery management software (Client), and associated electronics such as relays, fuses, and disconnects. You will be a linchpin for a system used in trucks around the world.
Research existing and emerging technologies developed by your vendor. Correlate component properties to vehicle performance, and understand vehicle • component interactions.
Ensure your systems are seamlessly integrated within the supply chain by providing timely and accurate information to engineering, logistics, manufacturing, sales, and service departments across all of worldwide brands.
Own the implementation process by listing, tracking, guiding, and completing Product Development Process deliverables through a matrixed, globally distributed organization.
Support aftersales service by assisting with troubleshooting using your specialized knowledge of the battery system.
Collaborate in development of the next generation of battery systems by providing insight into performance and history of previous implementation.
Ensure safety and quality of vehicles using Six Sigma and proprietary methods to analyze your system. Lead efforts to adapt existing solutions to new platforms and technologies, ranging from complete reconceptualization to form factor updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or a related field is required. Masters preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience with high-power electrical systems and or BEV battery systems.

Excellent knowledge of:

  • Product Development Electrical Systems Electrical Safety Functional Safety Embedded Systems
  • Excellent cooperation and communication skills in English including management presentation skills.
  • The ability to communicate in the Chinese language (Mandarin) is highly preferred.
  • Software Testing experience is a plus.
