THE COMPANY

Our client is currently seeking an experienced couple to manage their busy supermarket in Bayulu Community, just outside of Fitzroy Crossing. This is an excellent opportunity to experience small town life for a couple looking for a chance to work together in a new environment.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous store manager experience essential (either in community store or roadhouse)
• Previous experience working in remote locations (e.g. mining town or in an outback store / roadhouse) preferred
• Strong administration skillset
• Strong organisational skills and punctuality
• Flexible approach, positive attitude and a willingness to learn essential

Store Manager/s - Reporting to community directors and financial controller; opening and closing; managing staff; overseeing store, ordering; cleaning; staff training; stocktakes etc. The store is open 5.5 days a week, 8am to 4pm weekdays and 8am to 11am on Saturday. This includes counter serving and stock control e.g. maintaining stock levels; stock rotations; stock deliveries; till operation; lifting; and general cleaning/maintenance tasks.
