The Business Banking Adviser Lending Specilist is critical to making this happen and key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Undertake credit assessment of complex lending applications received from Mortgage Advisers, for customers in the Business Banking segment
Provide an exceptional relationship-based service experience for customers and Mortgage Advisers, supporting ANZ’s Retail & Business Banking goals of being #1 in Growth and #1 in Service
Deliver competitive product and pricing strategy that will help retain existing customers and attract new business to ANZ
Meet settlement targets through strong relationship building, sound judgemental risk assessment of applications (within ANZ’s credit guidelines) and a strong focus on providing market leading financial solutions to our Business Banking customers and stakeholders in the Mortgage Adviser (key influencers) segment
Manage your own workflow and assist your team as required, to meet or exceed individual and team targets, through collaboration and proactively managing conflicting priorities
Leverage existing continuous improvement frameworks (e.g. Kaizen and ATOM) to identify and implement opportunities to improve process and service delivery

Strong lending experience and knowledge of credit policy
CAD Accreditation held
Ability to analyse complex information in a logical & systematic manner & exercise good judgement in making decisions under pressure
Customer centric approach, ability to leverage risk appetite to deliver SLA and business growth goals
Good relationship management skills, ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and exert a positive influence for change
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
