Hampstead Hospital & Residential Treatment Facility (HHRTF) is an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital and a residential treatment program that treats children, adolescents, and young adults. HHRTF is located in a beautiful setting in southern New Hampshire that provides plenty of outdoor areas to play, walk, and promote well-being. Children deserve to have healthy and happy childhoods so that they can grow into wholesome and happy adults. How you make a difference:
The Behavior Analyst (Hampstead) is responsible for the clinical oversight of the behavior treatment program for an assigned unit. This position develops target behaviors, monitors data trends, provides evidence-based behavior interventions, and completes behavior assessment. The Behavior Analyst provides clinical consultation to unit staff, milieu supervisor, and educational staff regarding clinical/behavioral programming. This position is also responsible for the ongoing evaluation of the clinical program and provides clinical training to direct care staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in specialty area and follow ethical standards set by the BACB.
  • Provide clinical oversight of behavioral and educational programming, develop target behaviors, and analyze behavioral data to adjust behavior plans as needed.
  • Train and supervise direct care staff in the implementation of behavior support plans and provide family consultation/training regarding behavior plans/treatment.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of all assigned cases and in-service training regarding behavioral science and treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, State Licensing, and Medicare standards by monitoring, overseeing, and directing the quality and appropriateness of all documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Behavior Analysis, Psychology or a related field.
  • Ability to become Board Certified within one year of hire.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in applied behavior analysis or five (5) years of experience in a behavioral treatment setting preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Board certified in ABA (BCBA) preferred.
  • Specialty Certification when appropriate.
  • Complete CPR Certification (within 3 months of hire
  • Complete CPI Certification (within 3 months of hire)
