Behavioral Health Supervisor

We Are Hiring:

• Department: Behavioral Health
• Schedule: Full Time | 1.0 FTE | Day Shift
• Hospital: Columbia St. Marys Ozaukee
• Location: Mequon, WI

What You Will Do:

Supervise the behavioral health program.

• Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Apply progressive discipline when appropriate. Participate in hiring and termination procedure.
• Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.
• Participate in direct delivery of care depending on patient census. Complete patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
• Direct Oversee, coordinate, and control the admission, customer service representative, and case management departments in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; regulatory agencies; and third-party payers.

What You Will Need:

One or more of the following required:

• Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date .
• Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Psychologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board obtained prior to hire date

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Master’s Degree, Degree in psychology, health psychology, counseling, social work, occupational therapy, nursing or other related field required.

Work Experience:

• Two years of experience required.
