This role involves:
- Development of behaviour plans, skill building and self-regulation strategies
- Supporting people with a high and complex needs and behaviours of concern
- Reviewing and supporting implementation of plans and interventions
- Providing resource information, training and advice
- Reviewing and supporting implementation of plans and interventions
Ideally you will have:
- A tertiary qualification at Bachelors level (minimum), which may include Psychology or similar
- Previous experience in supporting people with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder
- Experience providing support using a positive behaviour support (PBS) approach
Whilst the role is based at our head office in Greenlane, Auckland, you may be required to travel to services provided by Spectrum Care. Please note you must have a full New Zealand driver’s licence to be considered for this role.
