Description:

FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

  • We provide mobile and clinic-based services, across the EASTERN SUBURBS and INNER WEST SUBURBS of Sydney. Our clinic is located in Waterloo, NSW.
  • Part-time applications will be considered if the applicant has greater than 30 hours per week of availability. Applicants MUST have access to their own reliable mode of private transportation. Applicants MUST be available between 3-6pm, Monday to Friday. For Senior Behaviour Therapist positions: Applicants MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience working full-time (or equivalent) in ABA.
  • You will be working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or other developmental diagnoses or behavioural challenges; in home, school, community, and clinic settings, with frequent and high-quality ongoing training and supervision. For Senior Behaviour Therapist positions: Supervision will be provided for those pursuing a Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis and seeking the opportunity to become certified in Applied Behaviour Analysis (RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA level).
  • Our students range in age from 2 years through 14 years old, and present with a wide range of interests, skills, and challenges. We teach a variety of skills, such as communication, emotional regulation, self-help, social skills, cognitive skills, and play skills; as well as reducing behaviours that are problematic to the student’s life and learning. We work closely with the family, and other professionals. We take a compassionate, trauma-informed, values-based approach!
  • This position requires candidates who are committed to a career in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). For Senior Behaviour Therapist positions: Prior experience essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • For Senior Behaviour Therapist positions: Minimum of 2 years experience working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis; implementing variety of teaching curriculum under direct supervision, including data collection, and in-the-moment adjustments and decision-making, exposure to assisting Behaviour Consultants/Supervisors’ implementation of therapist training, parent support, administration of curriculum assessment tools. Applicants without this level of experience (or equivalent) need not apply
  • Completion of minimum 10 hour on-demand online training course on Practical Functional Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment for Implementors: https://ftfbc.com/course-list/ or willingness to complete prior to successful onboarding
  • Working towards a related qualification (ABA, Education, Psychology, Speech Pathology)
  • Robust work ethic
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively as a team member

  • Proficient communication ability - both vocal and written

  • Strong professionalism in interactions with stakeholders

  • Own mode of private transportation (applicants without a vehicle they can access will unfortunately not be considered)
  • Current full and unrestricted NSW Drivers License
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid Certificate + CPR
  • Current Mandatory Child Protection Training
  • Ability to be SILLY and interact with children
  • Willingness to learn and work independently as well as part of a great team
