Description:
Tumeq is seeking a qualified and experienced Benefits Administrator to join our human resources team. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee benefits programs that align with the organization’s overall strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering comprehensive benefits packages to enhance the overall well-being of our workforce.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- This position requires sound communication, technology, and analytical abilities.
- Possess proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak clearly and maintain order in confrontational situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, HRIS systems and ability to learn and use new technologies.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of benefit or HR generalist experience
- Experience handling Davis Bacon, Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
- Government Contracting and/or job costing experience.

Responsibilities:
- Administers the company benefit programs.
- Evaluate existing benefits programs and recommend enhancements to remain competitive in the market.
- Consults and advises employees on eligibility for insurance.
- Maintains benefit/personnel records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.
- Research and escalate employee benefits issues and consults with appropriate vendors and/or company broker to resolve issue.
- Ensure compliance with new government rules and regulations. Provide guidance and support to employees on Employee-related matters.
- This position requires strong knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures, and all State and Federal rules, regulations, and required reporting
- Responsible for employment practices and regulatory compliance associated with EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, HIPPA, US DOL, AAP, OFCCP, Worker Compensation and OSHA.
- Reconcile and process benefits related invoices including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, FSA, and HSA.
- 401K Administration – Loans, withdrawals, and other duties as required.
- Process and track tuition/education reimbursements
- Assist with Open Enrollment process for employee benefits
- Assist with administration of HR and Benefits systems as it relates to benefits.
- Self-motivated - create, develop, and implement project process improvements.
- Coordinate and participate in audits related to benefits programs.
- Manager ACA reporting requirements for year-end filings
- Analyze benefits data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on the effectiveness and utilization of benefits programs.
- Assist HR team members with other related projects as requested.
