As a Benefits Analyst, you will oversee daily administration and compliance, as well as initiate improvements within the areas of the health, welfare, and retirement plans. Additionally, you will analyze data, propose and assist with the implementation of plan changes, and assist with managing our vendors, data interfacing and ensuring legislative compliance.

- Monitors benefit costs, service provider fees, and periodically validates the accuracy of the internal participant and benefit enrollment data
- Performs benefit reconciliations (such as 401k, Medical and Rx claim funding, FSA, HSA, etc.)
- Identifies new legislation that may affect our Company benefits and assists with the implementation of new and required plan changes, amendments, etc.
- Assists with updates to the annual electronic reenrollment tables in HRMS and assists with the company-wide open enrollment process
- Assists with managing benefit vendor relationships and associated processes, data integrity, reporting and interfaces
- Works with HRIS Analyst to develop, test and implement new plans, interfaces and reports, as well as changes to existing interfaces, etc.
- Gathers and analyzes relevant data and drafts reports to comply with state legislated benefits, as well as responses to benefit appeals

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience required
- PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS or other professional HR Certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of benefits experience, including involvement with health, welfare and retirement benefit plans and legislation, as well as HRM systems
- Strong analytical and accounting skills required in order to perform reconciliations, cost analysis and to draw sound operational and financial conclusions, coupled with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; HRIS/PeopleSoft experience preferred
