JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Benefits consultant for our Merrimack Valley Client:
This position will be responsible for performing all facets of administration in the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs as well as identify federal, state, and local regulatory requirements that impact our business, and partner with HR departmental leaders to mitigate identified risks.

Essential Functions

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits
  • Develop and execute a detailed project plan for transitioning 401(k) providers.
  • Track and maintain employee data using HRIS software and compile necessary reports from database
  • Ensure compliance with Legal teams
  • Provides support in filing documentation and tracking paperwork
  • Facilitating Human Resources processes and acting as a liaison between employees, team, vendors and providers
  • Partner with employees and managers to ensure smooth administration of retirement plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, or similar field, preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing 401(k) programs and moving benefits platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of ADP and or Workday platforms
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing ERISA
  • Excellent computer and technical skills including HRIS functional development, maintenance, troubleshooting and reporting; third party vendor systems and reporting; MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel required
