About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a BI Analyst to join our Hunter Class line of business based at SA-Osborne Naval Shipyard, reporting to the Data Analytics Lead Maritime.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
You will be responsible for technical and functional software product support, maintenance and development that are managed to provide a cost effective solution to the business or customer.
You will be responsible for providing the business with timely support for the allocated application(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stakeholder management, user support, analysis, development, testing and production delivery coordination
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with customers in-line with SLAs for Support request and incidents
  • Contribute to timely responses and recommendations on support requests
  • Implement and drive process improvement
  • Develop and contribute to the definition of general specifications and support documentation
  • Troubleshoot and provide information to enable resolution on support requests and promptly allocate unresolved calls as appropriate
  • Receive and handle requests for support, following agreed procedures and within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines
  • Develop knowledge of developing technologies and their application

About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in relevant ICT environment, with prior experience in customer support
  • Confident oral and written communicator able to build effective relationships with business representatives, customers and suppliers
  • Ability to demonstrate systems analysis skills, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • A willingness and capacity to expand knowledge in IT solutions
  • Results orientated, focusing on the key objectives and striving for effective outcomes
  • An organised and motivated approach to work with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • The systems, which are critical in nature, will sometimes require support beyond the normal working hours and hence flexibility in working hours is a primary requirement for this position
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
