JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant technical field. Additional training and/or certification in relevant technologies encouraged.
  • 3-6 years overall Qlik experience with minimum of 2-3 years QlikSense experience developing dashboards, reports, data extractors, etc.
  • Experience working with Qlik extensions and web connectors; SAP connector experience and QlikView exposure a plus.
  • Experience with SAP BW or other SAP BI tools a plus.
  • Experience in a Utilities industry environment is a plus.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with a team or individually.
  • Capability to adapt to changing environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems / tools as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Qlik applications.
  • Design and develop complex QlikSense applications, including data models, ETL processes, and interactive dashboards.
  • Optimize data load processes, scripting, and data transformations to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Implement effective data visualization techniques, set analysis, and expressions to provide actionable insights to end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard responsiveness problems.
  • Adhere to best practices and coding standards.
  • Contribute to the documentation of Qlik applications, data models, and development processes.
  • Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance Qlik development efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
