We are seeking BI Developers/Data Scientists with experience in analytics design. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, driving continuous improvement in operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools. This position offers the opportunity to work within an international team based in our Budapest office.

Responsibilities as a BI Developer:

• Actively involved in programming and automating data manipulations, designing interactive Power BI Dashboards, and web portals for executives and operations staff.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and review performance data dashboards to monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes, providing visibility into goals, KPIs, PIs, productivity, progress, and obstacles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support positive inter-departmental partnerships and automate analytics processes.
• Extract, transform, and translate big data into visualizations that produce business insights for management and operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in data science, analytics, or automation
• Proficiency in Python scripting is a must, along with profound knowledge of advanced analytics and other related programming languages.
• Familiarity with SQL, including the ability to understand and manage databases.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and JIRA APIs is required.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficient in managing MS-SQL databases, including data querying, maintenance, and optimization.
• Experience in transforming large and complex datasets into actionable executive reports through data visualization techniques.
• Hands-on experience on automation of data extraction and report creation with relevant technologies, including Python, SQL, SSIS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing compelling visualization dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience in graphical and web design, such as SharePoint.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT technologies and business principles.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
