Description:
THE JOB ON OFFER
As part of the Capgemini UK bid management team, you will be a dedicated and goal focused individual with an interest in working within business development. The role of the Bid Manager is to drive the process of responding to a client’s request, from deal qualification to the contract signature, and then handing over to delivery. This will entail working closely with the Market Units, leading bid teams drawn from across Application & Global Business Lines, working with functions including
Commercial, Financial, Legal & HR, and interacting with our prospective clients and third parties.
You’ll be responsible for guiding bids through our internal approvals processes, including SBU & Group approval when necessary, ensuring we submit a compelling tender.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that there is a regular flow of communications to and from key internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the Sales Lead so they can maximise their time building the relationship with the client.
- Driving the bid procedures, governance and processes that the bid team need to follow and shaping and reviewing the deliverables (written & financial) being produced.
- Forecasting, tracking and reporting of the bid budget and any associated spend.
- Capturing lessons learnt and process improvements to drive improvements within the sales function
