Description:

Join our team as a Bilingual Coordinator, Benefits! Is this role you’ll be administering employee benefit programs, playing a crucial role in ensuring that every employee and Optometrist understands their benefits and has a positive and engaging experience. You’ll be assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries, coordinating open enrollment periods, and liaising with external vendors.
This is a one year-contract role.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full-cycle administration of employee benefit programs for specific client group.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience.
  • Providing a positive onboarding experience for benefit orientation and support services to employees.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting benefits issues, communicating benefit updates, policy changes, and open enrollment periods to employees.
  • Collaborating with the payroll team to ensure group insurance changes, RRSP/TFSA, and health care spending account contributions are accurate in the HRIS system and are processed in a timely and accurately.
  • Supporting annual benefit enrollment activities, including developing communication materials, conducting employee education sessions, and assisting employees with enrollment and benefit elections.
  • Supporting our Merger & Acquisitions team in the clinic enrollments. Facilitating webinars to practices joining our organization.
  • Conducting webinars for current employees and Optometrists on our Benefits program.
  • Compiling handout materials for meetings, events, and presentations, as required.
  • Liaising with external vendors to coordinate employee perks and discount codes. Providing employees with optical discount cards.
  • Participating and providing support on special projects.
