JOB DESCRIPTION

One of Manulife’s largest Group Benefits clients is SISIP Financial (SISIP F), who provides financial products and services exclusively to the military community. SISIP F understands that careers in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have unique requirements and needs, and that is why its financial products and services are tailored to the military lifestyle. The SISIP Services Department at Manulife administers aspects of the plan on behalf of SISIP F, dealing both with serving and former members of the CAF.
The CAF Long Term Disability (LTD) Team within the SISIP Services Department is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join them as a Calculation Analyst on a regular full-time basis. The position is bilingual required. The Calculation Analyst position encompasses a variety of tasks that are vital to the management of our CAF LTD claimants’ files.

Responsibilities:

  • Long Term Disability claim approvals
  • Benefit Adjustments and recovering benefits overpaid
  • Financial duties such as stop payments, voids, refund deposits, Garnishments, processing TD1s and calculating employment income offsets on a frequent basis.
  • Other related tasks
