Employee Support Associate
CareGivers America, a Modivcare company.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful individual to Modivcare PCS as an Employee Support Associate. As an Employee Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to our employees across various areas, including HR policies, benefits, training, and general inquiries. Your role will involve building positive relationships with employees, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their overall well-being and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of HR practices, and a genuine commitment to supporting and advocating for employees.
Location: 261 Old York Rd # A35, Jenkintown, PA 19046
Schedule: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in HR support, employee relations, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or home healthcare setting.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems, MS Office, and other HR software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support and advocate for employees.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits administration and wellness program coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Assistance and Support:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general inquiries.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Assist employees in navigating HR systems, processes, and self-service tools.
  • Onboarding and Orientation:
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive transition into the organization.
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientation sessions, and training activities.
  • Assist new employees with the completion of required documentation, including background checks, drug screenings, and HR forms.
  • Provide guidance and resources to new employees to help them acclimate to their roles and the organization’s culture.
  • Employee Benefits and Wellness:
  • Educate employees on available benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Promote employee wellness initiatives and programs, encouraging participation and engagement.
  • Training and Development:
  • Coordinate and schedule training programs and professional development activities for employees.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials and resources.
  • Track and monitor employee training completion and maintain training records.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee grievances.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to HR team members to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity.
