JOB DESCRIPTION:
Start date: April 15th, 2024
Schedule: Need to be available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm- Rotational shift.

As a licensed Financial Services Consultant your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. As a member of our Client Relationship team within Client Solutions, you will support Sun Life clients with their saving and insurance needs by speaking with them over the phone and providing amazing service & recommendations that meet their needs.
REQUIREMENTS :
- A passion for building relationships and creating amazing client experiences
- Experience with selling and supporting clients with investment, savings products
- Bilingualism (French, English) required- interactions with English-speaking customers or partners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone or video conferencing
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions to understand needs
- Possess an owner’s mindset in order to build strong client experiences and loyalty, while contributing within a fast-paced evolving team
- Ability to be agile and effectively manage changing priorities or processes
- Self motivated and have the ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Proactively call new and existing Sun Life members that have a Group Retirement Savings plan & Group Insurance Benefit plan and to establish a relationship where the objective is to educate members on their benefits, provide a service where you will assist with product enrolment, while supporting any account changes.
- Consult with clients by providing investment and protection guidance related to their financial needs, including savings, retirement income and insurance.
- Partner with clients to be ‘retirement ready’ through the use of planning tools. Ensure all clients maintain an updated plan in order to achieve personal goals.
- Provide investment advice to clients, through consultation related to their financial needs, including savings, and retirement income.
- Review portfolio investments, product options, savings goals, and assist with asset consolidation.
- Create an investment risk assessment profile for clients. This will support them in aligning their investments to their desired risk tolerance.
- Contribute to sales and service targets by demonstrating to clients the value of their benefits available to them through their employer plans and assist with payroll deduction set ups, lump sum contributions and asset consolidation.
- Support clients specific to In-Plan Group Retirement Services & Group Benefits campaigns to help maximize optional wealth and protection products available to them through their employer plans and additional supplemental plans available through Sun Life if applicable.
Note: This role does NOT require any prospecting of new clients or cold calling. You will be interacting with existing clients of Sun Life.
