HR Coordinator
Job Title: Bilingual HR Coordinator
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Work Location: 1366 Triole St #200, Ottawa
About the Role
We’re looking for an organized, bilingual and relationship-driven HR Coordinator to work alongside our fast-paced HR team to support talent management and people leaders with the full spectrum of our employee’s HR needs. What You Will Be Doing

  • 60% of this role is recruitment and 40% of the role is other HR-related responsibilities.
  • Owning the full cycle recruitment from posting to job offer
  • Building relationships with community centres, schools, and non-profits to build candidate pipelines
  • Writing employment letters, memos, health & safely talks, and internal correspondence
  • Processing security clearance for candidates. Assisting the Joint Health & Safety Commitee at head office, and assisting work sites with their JHSCs
  • Assisting the HR Business Partner with the return-to-work program and Workplace Safety & Insurance board cases
  • Assisting with annual health and safety audits at all sites, providing recommendations and best practices to management
  • Reviewing, editing and translating internal documentation from French to English and vice versa
  • Participating in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Other administrative duties, as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully Bilingual French/ English
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Level security clearance, which requires at least 10 years living in Canada
  • Completed certificate/degree in Human Resources or the equivalent knowledge gained through work experience is an asset
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with an HRIS or ATS such as Dayforce
  • Proficiency with MS Suite
  • Strong emotional intelligence

Working Conditions
This is an in-office role due to the nature of the recruitment and security clearance processes. Working hours are typically 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
