We are looking for a Bilingual Law Clerk (internally referred to as Paralegal) to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Bilingual Paralegal will be responsible for verification of various corporate documents received from clients and transmission to the proper governmental authority. Reporting to Operations Manager, Montreal, Corporate Filing, Search & Registration and NOSI , other highlights include:

  • Receiving and verifying various certificates and declarations issued by governmental authorities.
  • Taking the orders from clients for minute books, spines and seals related to their corporate files.
  • Preparation of various resolutions (with templates) and preparation of minute books
  • Obtaining various tax numbers from proper governmental authority.
  • Conducting various searches/verification using different Internet databases or intermediaries.
  • Completing incorporation forms following clients’ instructions (jurists only).
  • Preparing the entire organization of the corporation (jurists only).
  • Management of the inventory of shelf-corporations (Incoplus service) with the Team Leader/ Director.
  • Executing due diligence searches.

What you’ll need:

  • Collegial diploma in Paralegal Technology or Certificate in Law or 3+ years’ experience in corporate services/due diligence
  • Bilingual (French & English, written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of the various databases on the Internet used to perform the searches and to obtain the required documents.
  • Having a basic knowledge of services offered by other departments and providing support when needed.
  • Teamwork skills
