QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, Legal Services
- 1-3 years working with immigrant population
- 1-3 years demonstrated staff supervisory experience
- Bilingual capability – Ukrainian/English – verbal and written
- Ability to develop productive relationships with constituencies such as government agencies, parishes, law enforcement, and other community agencies
- Valid NYS Driver’s License; local travel required.
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
This program is grant funded until 9/30/25 federal budget permitting
Responsibilities:
- Supervise program staff. Interview prospective applicants, orient new staff, prepare and conduct performance appraisals, coach, and counsel staff.
- Prepare and deliver training and educational programs for staff or others as needed.
- Manage the coordination of client program services.
- Meet with clients to discuss individual needs and verify needs are met within program guidelines and policies.
- Prepare client progress notes, letters and other client documentation.
- Oversee federal contracts to confirm completed documentation and negotiate contract services as required.
- Develop program policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
- Analyze and prepare reports documenting achievements, needs and budget considerations.
- Evaluate effectiveness of program service and recommend changes including new services or activities.
