Title: Bilingual Security Operations Manager (French and English)
Location: GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead and oversee security operations at an assigned client site. The ideal candidate will manage security services, ensure the safety of client property and personnel, and supervise a team of security officers. This role involves operational planning, customer service, problem-solving, staff supervision, and collaboration with stakeholders. The Security Operations Manager does not perform regular security officer duties but may step in on an emergency or relief basis.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a background in law enforcement, military service, or public safety.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional college education or business-related classes are a plus.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and associated applications.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must meet provincial or local licensing requirements for security personnel.
  • Certifications in security operations or similar areas are advantageous.
  • Maintain composure in urgent or high-pressure situations. Handle sensitive and confidential information. Conduct oral presentations and lead group meetings.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Conduct regular site tours to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Preserve order and enforce regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage staffing, scheduling, and training. Handle recruitment, orientation, and disciplinary actions while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Prepare and update post orders, ensure proper staffing levels, and address operational issues. Provide support for security planning, assessments, and surveys.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with the Regional Account Manager to maintain high-quality customer service. Attend scheduled meetings with client representatives to address concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit reports related to security operations, including payroll and personnel information. Assist in resolving legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues.
