Status: Regular Part Time
Shift: Monday to Friday (9:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Come join our team at The North West Company (NWC) as the Billing Clerk, Days In this role, you’re based out of our Winnipeg Logistics Service Centre (WLSC) handling various task related to invoicing and billing process among others general office duties.

Your Role:

  • Interpret and enter freight shipment information into billing system.
  • Create manifests for outbound trailers.
  • Perform a variety of clerical functions, such as filing, and photocopying.
  • Email and answer phones.
  • Trace shipments.
  • Run weekly and monthly reports.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated numeric and alphanumeric keyboarding skills and basic proficiency in MS Office applications with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous office administrative experience is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads under tight deadlines is required.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow set procedures and instructions.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team or independently, and to adapt easily to a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Flexible to work call-in shifts is considered an asset.

    Report To: Department Manager, Dock Operations
