Description:

Accounting clerk opportunity in Blandon, Pennsylvania. The role is in the telecom industry and will require a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing invoices, processing expenses and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process invoices for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Carefully review all job costs and relevant supporting documentation • Establish and maintain effective communication with key customers and Project Managers to ensure accurate job costs and invoices • Update and maintain labor billing rates as needed, ensuring they remain current and accurate • Monitor the Accounts Receivable Aged Trial Balance regularly, taking action as necessary • Keep track of contracts for expiration dates and required billing rate updates, inputting contracts, change orders, and purchase orders into JDE • Work closely with Project Managers to process and track change orders, both internal and external • Input work breakdown structure into JDE accurately and efficiently • Provide support to Project Managers and field personnel as needed • Perform other duties as required, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.   • Proven experience in a similar role such as Billing Clerk or similar administrative position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data entry and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures and practices
  • Familiarity with financial and accounting principles
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Finance or Accounting will be considered a plus.
