Description:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent working experience
  • Mid-senior level experience in production design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction)
  • BIM Certification
  • Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and ProjectWise
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfil the role of Sig BIM Coordinator toward both customers and partners
  • Good knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)

Responsibilities:

Develop in BIM environment the Mainline and Urban (M&U) Signalling Installation Engineering activities, provide guidance to the BIM team ensuring delivery and quality of the documentation in compliance with M&U Signalling strategies.

In compliance to EHS and regulatory standards, prepare and coordinate the Installation studies and activities applied to BIM environment, in coordination with the team.

  • Implement the project specific standards and the BIM Execution Plan
  • Ensure the technical understanding of the BIM Supplier Instruction by the Manufacturers and check the compliance of 3D Objects
  • Manage the tools used for design development and deliverables production, providing hardware and network support as it relates to design BIM design and production
  • Support the Signalling BIM modelers in daily tasks of design development and in the production of the 2D and 3D deliverables.
  • Perform reporting of design development to the System BIM Manager and Region/Country Installation Engineering Manager
