We are seeking a skilled BIM Software Developer with expertise in JavaScript to join our dynamic team. As a BIM Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and enhancement of our BIM software solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cutting-edge tools for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
Tasks
1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain BIM software applications using JavaScript, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
2. Integration: Collaborate with BIM experts and engineers to integrate BIM capabilities into our software solutions, enabling seamless data exchange and interoperability.
3. User Interface: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for BIM applications, focusing on user experience and design principles.
4. API Development: Build and extend APIs to facilitate data exchange between our software and other BIM tools and platforms.
5. Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and implement solutions to enhance software efficiency.
6. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance to deliver reliable and error-free software.
7. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and software architecture.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including BIM specialists, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to meet project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
1. Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in JavaScript development, with a focus on web applications.
3. Strong knowledge of BIM concepts, standards, and software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
4. Familiarity with BIM-related APIs and libraries (e.g., Forge Viewer, BIM360).
5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus
