Arup have been framework technical consultants for Yorkshire water for 20 years and on technical frameworks with other UK water companies including: Northern Ireland Water, Welsh Water, Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water. We have global reach in the water business providing technical support to internal and external clients around the world.
The Team based in Leeds is the hub of water process engineering and centre of expertise in Arup, supporting local clients and offices throughout the UK and globally.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking BIM Technician to help us deliver projects on secured frameworks, we have a strong forward pipeline of opportunities with clients who share our passion for shaping a better world including Severn Trent Water, Welsh Water and the Environment Agency as well as a variety of energy clients with exciting net zero ambitions. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technical excellence and providing an outstanding service to our clients.
You will be an active member of our MEICA & Process Engineering BIM team in the Northwest and Yorkshire, ideally located in Leeds office. You will work on multiple projects using a variety of software, allowing you the opportunity to learn and grow your career.

We would like to speak with people with the following skills/knowledge:

  • Have a working knowledge of AutoCad design packages, Autodesk Construct Cloud, other Common Data Environments and Navisworks.
  • An understanding of 3D Design would be an advantage.
  • Have a background of working in the water or energy industry.
  • Understanding of the BIM standards BS EN ISO 19650

Responsibilities:
