DATES : AUGUST 2ND - SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024
We are currently looking for a motivated intern who can actively engage in our association’s activities and contribute to its growth. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in developing a new structure and understanding the fundamentals that apply to both young NGOs and other types of start-ups. The role will require multitasking, but it also offers the possibility of deeper involvement in areas such as communications, conservation project design, or administrative management, if you have an inclination towards them.
There are specific tasks that we anticipate for this role:

- Workshop organization: You will have the chance to learn how to plan and organize workshops involving multiple stakeholders. This will involve participating in the design, planning, and promotion of these events, as well as coordinating and managing their logistics.
The excitement and challenge of this role lie in the diverse range of tasks, fast-paced environment, and the opportunity for extensive learning through various interactions.
Your key responsibilities for this position are to provide comprehensive support across various areas including project development, workshop coordination, administrative tasks, and communication activities. If you possess exceptional abilities in Communications, particularly in animated video editing, or Website SEO, which involves enhancing on line visibility and strengthening presence on search engines, we may consider a more targeted focus during your internship.
This internship provides a chance to acquire transversal hands-on experience in the development of start-ups. Additionally, candidates with specialized training in communication or environmental and conservation sciences have the potential to delve deeper into these fields during their internship.
Education: Undergraduate or master training in environment-biological sciences, communications or administrations would be a plus, though they are not required. Our preferred qualifications in terms of diplomas are a Bachelor, Master or MBA’s degree.
Experience: No experience is required, this could be your first professional experience. Of course, previous hands-on experience with start-up development, website, SEO or animated video would be most welcome.
Language: English and French are required.
Desired skills: for this internship would be strong organizational ones, effectiveness and reliability.
Our organization is in its early stages, and spending a few months with us would provide a chance to become acquainted with every facet of a startup, from the fundamental business operations to financial management and communication. We are also open to receiving any expertise in our various fields, in particular website search engine optimization and the creation of animated videos.
