Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post-holder will practise as an HCPC Registered BMS in Biochemistry, participating fully in the practical work of the department. They will be responsible for the operation and provision of a highquality technical service. The post holder will be expected to provide a high quality technical service that builds on the standards defined by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and ISO 15189:2022. They will be expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all grades of staff, both technical and medical, to ensure the effective delivery of the technical service.
Essential criteria HCPC registered BSc in Biomedical Sciences Evidence of CPD Desirable criteria ECDL/IT - experience of LIMS Experience of a diagnostic speciality in Biochemistry Competencies Essential criteria Ability to work under pressure Ability to work as part of a team Multi-tasking skills, prioritisation skills and initiative Working out of hours Desirable criteria Alinity ci experience NHS Blood Sciences experienc
