Description:
BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST- | PATHOLOGY | BAND 5/6 | MANCHESTER | FULL TIME | PERMANENT
Spire Manchester are expanding and as a result, they are now looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join their existing team in the Histology Centre in Manchester.
Responsibilities:
- Section cutting
- BMS dissection
- Special stain
- IHC/ Molecular testing
- Stock managementIQA/ IQC
. Who we’re looking for
- HCPC registered
- Ability in cutting a minimum of 25 blocks an hour
- Experience in transferring biopsies
- Experience in special stains is desirable
- Experience in IHC is desirable
- Good team work ethic
- Enthusiastic and energetic professional
