Hybrid: Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time, but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week.

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams at once.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed (planned or spontaneous).
  • Ability to work OT or off-shift as needed.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented individual to join the team as a Body in White Lead Engineer for Final Line . This role will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. In this position, you will use substantial independent judgment in complex or unusual situations. Your responsibility may involve training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Travel to suppliers and plants for work related issues and processes.
  • Manage multiple projects while also managing multiple groups of people.
  • Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes.
  • Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area.
  • Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.
  • Provide technical support for specific plant operations.
  • Interact on a regular basis with design, product and manufacturing engineering staffs.
  • Provide direction to engineering support group and vendors.
  • Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
  • Handle engineering projects with plants and/or Manufacturing Engineering Staffs.
  • Manage a team of technical experts in a variety of fields.
