Are you:

  • A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who is a process improvement specialist?
  • A leader of improvement efforts responsible for the diagnosis of the root causes of the issues, the development of specific improvement plans and the successful implementation of the planned improvement steps?

As the Black Belt, you will be tasked with solving service delivery issues that may directly cause customer dissatisfaction and result in clients (and revenue) at risk of being lost. In addition to service delivery improvements, this role is employed in efficiency efforts that are aimed at boosting processing productivity and reducing operating costs. This role is in office T,W,TH weekly in our Mississauga ON office.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead identified improvement efforts through all stages of the basic Six Sigma process (DMAIC) across various areas of the organization while providing leadership and guidance for the people who are attached to the project (process owners, subject matter experts, technology specialist, etc)
  • Conduct data and other analysis to determine root causes of service performance failure
  • Document via flowcharting existing processes, identify fail points and develop solutions
  • Works directly with clients on either client specific service issues or as part of a larger service improvement effort
  • Provide coaching support to organization’s managers to support their improvement efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Black belt certified from a reputable organization
  • 10+ years of business experience in a service (strongly preferred), and/or financial environment leading business improvement efforts
  • Formal project management skillset and experience (time/scope/budget)
  • Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft suite of office products, specifically MS Project, Lucid Suite, and Visio
  • Proactive, process driven, with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the stakeholder
  • Must be a results-oriented “change agent” with the ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships, and build consensus for chosen solutions
