Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a motivated individual with proven initiative to join our Port Lincoln team as a Bulk Loading Plant (BLP) Operator in a permanent part-time position. In this role, you will work within a team to ensure stored grain is efficiently loaded onto ships to meet strict export deadlines. Key responsibilities include meeting stakeholders’ needs and ensuring all commodities within the site are handled and loaded in an effective, hygienic and safe manner to meet export standards.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Operate machinery to load commodities in bulk
- Operate equipment to complete general maintenance of the plant
- Complete and participate in safety and plant inspections
- Participate in and promote a safe working environment
- Complete all duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Undertake required training and development
- Cleaning and general hygiene of plant
