Mō te tūranga | About the Role
The Executive Support Engineer role sits within the Technology Operations & Business Applications Team, which provides advocacy for our business teams into technology, building the relationship between technology and the business, providing key contacts, creating trusted partners.
The Board and Exec Tech Support person is responsible for supporting Westpac NZ’s Board and Executive Teams diverse Technology needs. They are the Executive Teams first port of call and ensure all Technology issues are attended to in a timely and efficient manner. Their scope of support includes executive meeting and meeting room support, and major event support.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • ITIL Foundations.
  • Two years’ experience on an IT Service Desk or in a similar Service Delivery / Engineering role.
  • Two years’ experience in the application of technical skills.
  • Experience with PC based Hardware and Software, including demonstratable technical knowledge in Microsoft operating systems and desktop associated products (O365 etc) within an Enterprise Level environment.
  • External certificate or degree in a Service Delivery / Engineering related course.
  • Advanced experience using and resolving incidents for the relevant Applications.
  • Experience with standard banking applications ideal but not essential.
