Strata Management SA is a fast-paced, innovative strata management company which values its clients and our client service team and the opportunity is here for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to complement our close knit team.
As a Strata Community Manager your will be responsible for managing a property portfolio of Strata and Community Titled properties ensuring that all legislative requirements are met, providing competent and professional customer service, guidance and support to our clients and suppliers.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday in our Fullarton Road, Eastwood office with hours 8:30am to 5:00pm (office closes at 4:00pm on Friday) with body corporate managers carrying out an average of two evening meetings per week and six rostered days’ off provided as compensation.
Strata Managers service a portfolio of properties as the designated contact point providing unit owners with advice on legislation, answering client queries, chairing and minuting meetings, budgeting and arranging maintenance for properties.

The position will include duties such as:

  • Preparing, Attending, Minute taking & Actioning items from client meetings (held at properties, in the office and via Zoom)
  • Handling inquiries from clients and other parties via phone and emails
  • Management of insurance claims
  • Correspondence with clients and maintenance service providers
  • Follow-up of maintenance jobs and quotations
  • Assisting colleagues

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Ability to work to changing priorities and deadlines with an ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent keyboard skills and operating knowledge of Word and Outlook (training provided in specialized strata management software)
  • Able to be proactive and have good problem-solving skills
  • Have clear confident communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as supporting the team
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Be well presented and friendly

While experience in body corporate management and familiarity with both the Strata Titles Act 1988 and Community Titles Act 1996 may be advantageous, training will be provided to the successful applicant who may come from a property management, administrative, sales or account management background and will demonstrate the motivation, confidence, effective communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and prioritise works while supporting the team.
Holding a current driver’s licence and your own vehicle is a requirement for this position with a parking space provided and a vehicle allowance of $2500pa paid to cover your travel expenses. A laptop, and wifi office phone will be provided with the role not requiring a mobile phone or after hours work outside of booked meetings.
An attractive salary package exists for the right person with bonuses for additional income generation along with 6 Rostered Days’ off provided as compensation for evening meetings and the opportunity exists to expand the portfolio and further grow your income.
