The Boeing Global Services Commercial Business organization is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Product Marketer (Level 4 or 5) to join the Modifications marketing team. The teammate selected will be responsible to drive demand and usage of multiple products, focusing on product positioning, sales enablement, product messaging, buyer personas, metrics, meeting customer needs, and product demos.
The candidate will be responsible for leveraging marketing intelligence on a regular basis to build and execute go-to-market plans, train the sales force on how to sell the product, create marketing materials that communicate product features and develop and train peers on new marketing tools.
The candidate will focus on key avionics, connectivity, interior or performance related modifications. The role can be shaped depending on the background, areas of expertise and overall team requirements.
The candidate closely with sales directors, customers, the business unit, strategy and numerous other key functional partners on a regular basis and must have an executive presence with the ability to present at the c-suite level. Attention to detail, organizational skills, industry knowledge and a self-starting mind-set are critical in this role.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelors in business, marketing economics or equivalent required
- 5+ years experience in portfolio or product marketing & building coherent marketing strategies
- 5+ years experience collaborating across large cross-functional teams & ability to lead without authority
- 5+ years experience in a customer facing role
- 5+ years experience and understanding of current events as they relate to aircraft modifications
- Creative, critical thinker with the ability to simplify and explain complex products
- Self-starter that is assertive, organized, collaborative and possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA or graduate degree
- Program/project management background

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Responsibilities:
- Build comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for portfolio in partnership with the product lines, business unit & MARCOM team
- Develop and deploy marketing functional best practices across the portfolio
- Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements, interfacing directly with external stakeholders as a product expert and developing market-based leads based market intelligence
- Support active sales campaigns, conveying persuasive product stories using marketing intelligence and clearly differentiating the Boeing product from the competition
- Create, manage and present the physical & digital product marketing collateral
- Shape products communication, product positioning & media strategy in coordination with Boeing Communications and the MARCOM team
- Provide market guidance for annual long range business planning based on market intelligence and data based trends
