The Hours: On average, our people undertake 40 hours per week Monday - Friday and for those looking to earn a bit more, there’s overtime available when projects permit.
The Workshop: Large workshop space on about 2600 square meters with up-to-date equipment and technology (not to mention a great bunch of people).
Employment Type: We offer both casual and permanent positions, depending on what suits your situation.

Whilst working at M2P, you can expect to:

• Utilise your knowledge of GMAW (flux core) and GTAW welding processes
• Fabricate a variety of heavy industrial pipework, platework and structural steel
• Read an interpret technical drawings
• Work with a variety of materials including stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminium and exotics.

There are some important skills and experience that will support you in succeeding in this role:

• It probably goes without saying, you’ll need to be competent in metal fab and hold your trade qual
• If you have any other tickets and quals, they may come in useful; such as EWP, Forklift, non-slewing crane etc.
