Boilermakers & Welders - Full Time Permanent

Our client is a leading provider of engineering, construction and maintenance services within the transport, communications and technology, oil and gas, power generation, renewables and utilities sectors. Due to a large contract being awarded they are looking for multiple Boilermakers & Welders to support their team for ongoing work based in Newcastle.

What’s involved?

• New builds, fabrication and assembly of mobile plant frames and structures
• Pipe welding arrangements
• General fabrication and workshop duties
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret drawings

What we’re looking for:

• Trade Qualification or Welding Competencies and experience
• Heavy fabrication or TIG welding experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Great teamwork
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to pass pre employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and police check

• Full time, permanent positions
• $44.83 / hour and increasing to $47.52 April 2024 (trade qualified)
• 9 day fortnight
• Plenty of overtime available
