Our client is an engineering firm based in Perth WA. We are recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper to join their small, high performing accounts team immediately. If you are looking for a great and supportive team and a role where you will be kept busy and have lots to learn then this role is for you.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • At least 3 - 5 years proven experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with ZERO and to a lesser extend PRONTO would be highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, legislation and requirements.
  • Experience with AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    To be considered you need to have full working rights in Australia and live in Perth WA and available to work full time hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with employees and managers regarding payroll issues and queries when needed and assist with payroll related accounting entries.
  • Receiving and processing invoices
  • End of month duties including expense accruals & prepayments.
  • Performing reconciliations, managing receipts and outstanding debtors
  • P&L and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Ensure all aspects of the finance department’s systems and process are being
  • followed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
