Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Mooresville, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and interacting with vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintain detailed and organized customer credit records
  • Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries professionally
  • Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments
  • Conduct account reconciliation tasks and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform data entry tasks and manage monthly end close procedures
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data and create reports
  • Operate QuickBooks for accounting tasks and payroll procedures
  • Learn and adapt to new systems as required for the job
  • Solve problems and troubleshoot issues as they arise in the daily operations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
  • Experience with QuickBooks for managing financial data
  • Familiarity with performing account reconciliation for maintaining accurate financial records
  • Ability to handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Skills in conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Experience in handling payroll processes for employees
  • Ability to perform month-end close activities effectively
  • Excellent data entry skills for maintaining financial records
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools for efficient bookkeeping.
