Description:

We are looking for a Bookkeeper that is highly skilled in accounting and enjoys working in an collaborative environment. If this sounds like you, you may be the candidate we are searching for. This short-term contract / contract Bookkeeper role will be located in the Wellesley, Massachusetts area. Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • Conduct and manage the general ledger
  • Appease accounts by balancing entries
  • Look after archived records by categorizing documents
  • Examine payments received and record deposits
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
