Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Sarasota, Florida. This role is primarily focused on:

  • Small business bookkeeping for external clients across various industries
  • Perform full-cycle accounting tasks as needed, varying by company
  • Manage accounts payable and posting payments
  • Handle billing and collection tasks
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and month-end close processes
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Manage payroll tasks for smaller companies using their own payroll company
  • Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks
  • Demonstrable experience in a Bookkeeper role for a minimum of 3 years
  • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Capable of conducting Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping tasks
  • Capable of handling Month End Close tasks
  • Experience in handling Payroll
  • Proficient in using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
  • Basic Bookkeeping skills are essential
  • Must have strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be an advantage
