Description:

Robert Half has an immediate need for an experienced Bookkeeper. If you’re proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this Bookkeeper role may be a great fit for you. The long-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper will work in the Scarborough, Maine area.

What you get to do every single day

  • Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
  • Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
  • Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Monitor accounts by balancing entries
  • Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
  • Conduct and manage the general ledger
  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Prior experience working with accounting software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Command of Quickbooks Online
