This Bookkeeper position would be a great fit for someone with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. This Bookkeeper position will be located in the West Vancouver, British Columbia area and will be a short-term contract / temporary opportunity. Contact us today.

What you get to do every day

  • Conduct and manage the general ledger
  • Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
  • Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Appease accounts by balancing entries
  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • 1+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Adeptness in Canadian Payroll
  • Bank reconciliations experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping
