Position: The Bookkeeping Accounting Technician who will play a crucial role in our client’s bookkeeping team. This position does not require a CPA designation, making it a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about accounting and looking to grow their career in a supportive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Quickbooks is an asset
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
Process Canadian payroll
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Use accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
