Description:
We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our orchards in South Auckland, Keri Keri and Waikato. The role covers all three locations so travel will be a requirement.
This role will be a minimum of 30 - 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $29 - $31 per hour. Due to the nature of this role the duties must be completed in office and we cannot offer hybrid work settings.
Reporting directly to the Orchard Manager you will be responsible for:
- Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts by using computer system
- Processing payments and Conducting daily banking activities
- Producing various financial reports
- Reconciling records such as bank statements.
- Issue invoices to customers
- Ensure the receivables are collected promptly
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Reconciling accounts and inform any anomalies to the Director
- Liaise with company accountant re all financial matters and reports
- Generate purchase orders as required
- Maintain annual budgets and accounts and prepare reports of expenditures
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have reliable transport or be planning to relocate before starting the role
- One year of prior administration work experience or a relevant tertiary qualification
- The financial side of the role can be trained but we are looking for someone with proven administration experience
- Must be trustworthy
- Our orchards are strictly smoke/vape free
- Clean police record
- Must be trustworthy
