At Dass Metal Products we are currently seeking a Delivery Truck Driver (DZ - Boom Operator) that will make deliveries to job sites. Boom Truck Drivers operate heavy machinery to transport, load, and unload materials. Responsibilities include ensuring safe delivery, adhering to traffic laws, and performing routine vehicle maintenance. Tasks involve precise maneuvering and navigation. Boom Truck Driver must possess valid commercial driver’s license with boom truck certification 8 tons.

Responsibilities:

• Daily circle check reports, upkeep of company vehicle, including general maintenance (greasing of Boom/ Moffat) and cleanliness of cabs
• Verifying loads and paperwork (proper loading of materials, tarping, strapping etc.)
• Completion of all daily (MTO) paperwork requirements
• Safe and timely deliveries and pick up of material to locations
• Participate in loading and unloading materials on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting or using a boom truck
• Responsible for directives on site to helper
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and sub trades
• Reporting damaged or missing materials or equipment
• Adhere and follow company’s Health & Safety policies and regulations
• Abide by all rules and laws of the road
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma
• Driver’s Licence (Class D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Driver’s abstract and good CVOR
• 2 years related experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Must be dependable and a team player
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors and customers (verbal and written)
• Boom/Crane Certificate 0-8 Ton licence

• Boom/Crane: 2 years
