    You will need an excellent eye for detail and be well versed in both Rooms Division and Food and Beverage Operations.
    Experience in a Boutique hotel is a must.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • Opera experience essential
  • 3-5 years relevant experience at management level in a luxury hotel
  • Familiar with all the duties of both Rooms Division as well as Food and Beverage Operations
  • Strong Financial Acumen
  • Strong MS Office skills

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective Front Desk procedures, including check in, check out, guest relations, complaint handling, balancing accounts daily and reporting. Luggage control, Lost and Found.
  • Ensure the Facilities are well maintained, liaise with both Housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure 100% readiness
  • Maintain exclusivity procedures of the hotel
  • Ensure maximum security in all areas under your control.
  • Ensure that there are no variations on the agreed standards of food presentation, quality and freshness
  • Ensure cleanliness of the entire hotel
  • Monitor daily variance reports and action shortages
  • Understand the ownership roles and levels of responsibility in your team
  • Managing of assets and reporting
  • Monthly and weekly rosters, follow up on attendance
  • Progressive discipline where required
  • Demonstrate a sincerely positive attitude towards getting things done
  • Understand address group objectives
  • Develop solutions that improve organisational performance
  • Initiatives to increase revenue and occupancy
  • Achieve targeted food and beverage costs
  • Respond to guest reviews to maintain the image of the hotel
  • Understand and capitalise on the key demographic
