Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Branch Assistant Manager specializing in gold jewellery, you will be responsible for assisting Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store assigned to you. You will assist the Branch Manager to manage a team of sales associates and ensure the smooth functioning of the store to drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a high operational efficiency. Your goal is to assist the Branch Manager in maximizing revenue, maintaining inventory levels, and creating a positive customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Store Operations Management
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day store’s operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, visual merchandising, inventory management, security protocols, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects the brand image.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Lead a team of sales associates, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets.
- Foster a customer-centric environment and always ensure excellent customer service.
Monitor customer feedback, resolve complaints or issues, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market competition, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
- Sales Performance and Reporting
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for management on sales activities, inventory levels, and overall store performance.Identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate actions to optimize sales and profitability.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and manage replenishment orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of gold jewellery products.
Monitor product trends and demand to adjust inventory levels and optimize product assortment.Oversee inventory management, including ordering new stock, managing stock levels, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales associates, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.
Set performance targets, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and resolve any personnel issues that may arise.
